Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Licensed Journeyperson Electrician to install, repair, and maintain streetlight electrical systems and related equipment. You’ll read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable operation.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires working at heights, travel for storm work, and a valid Florida journeyman license or ability to obtain one; DOT/CDL may be needed. Competitive hourly pay and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be licensed as a Journeyman Electrician in Florida or able to obtain.
• Experience with roadway lighting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and perform electrical maintenance of streetlights and related equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, circuits, switches, relays, lighting and motors.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and propose solutions.
• Work safely at heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding and ladders.
• Complete monthly maintenance logs and reports.
• Perform testing on electrical systems up to 600 volts.
