Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Battle Creek, MI for second and third shifts (2nd: Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm; 3rd: Sun-Thu 11pm-7am). You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, read blueprints, and repair PLC-driven equipment to keep the plant safe and productive.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and facilities remain in good condition.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
