The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, including possession of a Michigan electrical license and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Possession of an electrical license issued by the State of Michigan.
• Experience (2 to 4 years) in a manufacturing environment with similar equipment.
• Knowledge of current National Electrical Code and industrial electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze machine error messages and test results to diagnose equipment problems.
• Interpret technical documentation such as wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Perform predictive and preventive equipment maintenance.
• Work within the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Troubleshoot on designated industrial equipment and control systems.

Skills

Electrical license issued by the State of Michigan

Experience in manufacturing environment (2 to 4 years)

Knowledge of National Electrical Code

Understanding of PLC operation

Advanced knowledge of solid-state components

Documented experience with electronic board troubleshooting

Control wiring troubleshooting skills

Ability to use testing equipment related to industrial electronics

Ability to work with oscilloscope

Frequency drive knowledge
