Hensel Phelps in Douglas, AZ is seeking a skilled Carpenter to construct and repair building frameworks, install window-frames, doors, partitions, drywall and more on active construction sites.

You will read blueprints, measure materials, operate hand and power tools, and follow safety practices to deliver high-quality results. Valid driver’s license and OSHA 10 are preferred; safety footwear required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with forming and removing concrete forms.
• Use hand tools and power tools to construct/build frames and components.
• Install window-frames, doors, stairways, partitions, drywall and trim.
• Ensure flooring/roofing/drywall are level and aligned.
• Read blueprints and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Measure materials and cut/shaping wood or other materials as needed.
• Construct forms and chutes for concrete, and erect scaffolding.
• Distribute materials and maintain a clean, safe site.
• Promote safety and secure the jobsite at day end.
