Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically, 3 years of field experience in the boilermaker craft with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark reference points for foundations and align boiler frames.
• Attach rigging and signal crane operator to lift components.
• Align structures or plates using plumb bobs, levels and wedges.
• Bolt or weld components to assemble vessels and frames.
• Install manholes, gauges and feed water connections in drums and boilers.
