Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a skilled AV/VTC engineer to design, integrate, test, and install complex AV/VTC systems for DoD environments in Patuxent River, MD. You will work with a team of engineers to ensure secure, scalable architectures and compliant deployments.

The role requires 3–10 years of relevant experience, DoD Secret Clearance, and a STEM degree or equivalent experience. A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on system integration, documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of AV/VTC system and computer network design, development, integration, test, fielding, operation, and maintenance.
• Hands-on DoD AV/VTC systems, computers and networks experience preferred.
• Must have a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test and install AV/VTC systems including large format displays, video walls, cameras, audio/video switching, storage, and processing.
• Update or repair operating systems and applications.
• Oversee and implement system architectures.
• Work with engineers to design and integrate hardware, software, AV/VTC, and networking components to create secure systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
• Perform integration, installation, and verification testing of new equipment.
• Update system documentation and drawings.
• Ensure system security and regulatory compliance.

• Design, develop, integrate, test and install AV/VTC systems to include large format display systems, video walls, cameras, audio/video switching, storage, and processing, control systems, unified conferencing, video/audio codecs, and immersive technologies
• Update or repair operating systems and applications
• Oversee and perform the implementation of system architectures.
• Work with a team of engineers and other technical professionals to design and integrate hardware, software, AV/VTC, and networking components to create a functional and secure system

• Develop and maintain technical documentation Job Requirements Experience:
• 3-10 years of recent and relevant experience in AV/VTC system and computer network design, development, integration, test, fielding, operation, and maintenance. Desired Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with US DoD AV/VTC systems, computers, and networks. Education:
• Bachelor Degree in STEM major is preferred
• Associate Degree is acceptable with an additional 4 years of experience (bringing the above to at least 7 years of experience)
• No Degree: Additional 6 years of experience (bringing the above to at least 9 years of experience)
• Must have a DoD Secret Clearance. Location:
