Job summary

University of Houston is seeking an HVAC technician to inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to HVAC systems including sewage pumps, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.
• May install new systems or replace old systems.
• May provide technical direction to assistants.
• May be required to work special assignments during emergencies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Pursuant to the Stateof Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, workson, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires theability to maintain the security or integrity of the Universityinfrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinelyreviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuousconnections for the government or political apparatus of a foreignadversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintainthe security or integrity of the infrastructure.
