Job summary

University of Houston System is seeking an HVAC technician to inspect, repair and perform preventative maintenance on various heating and air conditioning systems. This role includes directing other HVAC mechanics and may involve emergency repairs when needed.

A valid Texas driver's license and a minimum of three years of relevant experience are required; security checks will be conducted. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, and professional HVAC certification or licensing

Description:

Inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance tovarious heating and air conditioning systems. Pursuant to the Stateof Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, workson, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires theability to maintain the security or integrity of the Universityinfrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinelyreviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuousconnections for the government or political apparatus of a foreignadversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintainthe security or integrity of the infrastructure.
