Job summary

JEVS Human Services is seeking a Diversion and Reentry Instructor in Philadelphia. The role focuses on teaching job readiness, administering assessments, and facilitating VIP workshops for clients in need.

Strong collaboration with TCY Philly/Montco and other partners is essential. The ideal candidate has an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in adult education or related field and at least 2 years of instructional experience in educational or human services settings.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in adult education or related field.
• 2 years of instructor experience in education or human services.
• Knowledge of learning group training techniques.
• Knowledge of life/work skills topics.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel); willingness to learn JEVS ECM database.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of SAS/Montco/Philly/ TCY policy and procedures.
• Facilitate monthly SAS VIP workshops in Philly and Montco.
• Teach job readiness and administer assessments TCY Philly/Montco.
• Communicate effectively with JEVS staff, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
• Participate in program, supervisory and division meetings regularly.
• Structure and facilitate VIP workshops; provide soft skills training.
