Job summary

JEVS Human Services in Center City Philadelphia is seeking a Workforce Advisor to help individuals become job ready, addressing barriers such as childcare, transportation, work attire, and counseling. The role is on-site at Suburban Station CareerLink, collaborating with community partners to connect clients with resources and employment opportunities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with employment services background and will work with an Integrated Job

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with employment services experience preferred.
• Appropriate experience or special training may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Network with County Assistance Offices, Community Agencies, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Organizations.
• Provide case management to assigned caseload and follow up services regarding employment and retention.
• Work with the Integrated Job Development Team to transition customers to employment.
• Provide advice to customers on job finding and skill development.
