Job summary

JEVS Human Services in Philadelphia is recruiting a Workforce Advisor to help participants become job ready by addressing personal barriers and connecting them with supportive services. This on-site role at Center City Philadelphia focuses on employment readiness and community resources.

You will work with the Integrated Job Development Team to transition customers to employment, provide guidance on job searching and skill development, and manage caseloads with follow-up services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with employment services experience preferred.
• Appropriate experience or special training may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Network with County Assistance Offices, community agencies, mental health and drug/alcohol organizations and other agencies as needed.
• Provide case management to assigned caseload; complete case notes and follow-up services for employment, retention and termination.
• Work with the Integrated Job Development Team to transition customers to appropriate employment.
• Advise customers on job finding and skill development to improve competitiveness in the job market.
