Job summary

Hands of Heartland is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in Norfolk, NE. You will guide on-the-job training, coordinate with employers, and help clients achieve meaningful employment in a supportive setting.

This full-time role requires empathy, reliability, and strong communication. You will adapt to varying schedules, including some evenings or weekends, and must pass background checks and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of job settings to ensure meaningful employment.
• Assist individuals on the job and communicate with employers in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with employer to create natural supports on the job.
• Support the individual with training.
• Advocate for the individual on work-related issues.
