Job summary

Hands of Heartland is looking for dependable and compassionate individuals to provide job coaching to people with developmental disabilities in Fremont, NE. You will work directly with individuals on the job and communicate with employers in a professional manner.

Hours: full-time with flexible evenings and weekend hours as needed. Starting pay is $18.50/hour, with higher pay for experience and CNA license; CNA license holders may earn CEUs while working as a DSP.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred although not required. We will train you!

Hands of Heartland is looking for dependable and compassionate individuals to provide job coaching to people with developmental disabilities in Fremont, NE.

What You'll Do: Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of job settings to ensure they have meaningful employment. As a Job Coach you will assist individuals on the job and communicate with employers in a professional manner.

Collaborate with employer to create natural supports on the job. Support the individual with training. Advocate for the individual on work related issues.

Hours: We are hiring for full-time hours with ability to flex hours as some evenings and weekend hours may be required. Shift hours are based on the individual's needs.

Skillset Needed for the Job: Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals. Understand the importance of documentation.
