Job summary

Monarch Healthcare is seeking a Developmental Specialist Vocational in North Carolina to build positive relationships with individuals and help them achieve personal goals as outlined in their plans.

You will assess hopes and desires, support advocacy, and coordinate services in community and work settings, while ensuring safety, documentation, and compliance with policies. Evening/weekend sleepover may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with mental health diagnosis and/or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to advocate and empower individuals in services.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals for hopes and goals and provide supports to achieve them.
• Protect rights and promote advocacy and self-determination.
• Supervise and train staff, maintain documentation and progress notes.
• Attend trainings and maintain required certifications.
• Drive or travel may be required.
