The Job Coach supports adults with disabilities in obtaining, learning, and maintaining meaningful employment in their community. This position works closely with individuals to identify their strengths and interests, develop employment skills, provide on-the-job training, and help create successful and lasting employment opportunities.
The Job Coach may work in office, community, and employer/worksite environments. The position may require standing, walking, sitting, lifting or carrying materials related to job training, and assisting individuals with learning workplace tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be provided as appropriate.
The Job Coach promotes independence, inclusion, dignity, self-determination, and meaningful employment. The goal is to help each individual build confidence, develop skills, and achieve the greatest level of independence possible in the workplace.
Employment Type: Hours May Vary Depending on Individual Needs
Schedule: Flexible; may include weekdays and occasional evenings depending on individual and employer needs
