Duties and Responsibilities
Assist clients in various employment settings to develop workplace skills.
Coordinate with employment specialists to identify workplace performance concerns, meet with clients to review performance, and attempt to remedy concerns, provide employment assistance, monitor clients’ continued improvement, provide coaching when necessary, and provide feedback to employment specialists.
Ensure clients are aware of job duties; make sure clients are prepared for the job by ensuring they have proper attire and arrive on time; adapt instruction to clients’ learning style; and help clients develop plans for managing, saving, or spending earnings.
Plan and implement a job coaching strategy with multiple employees.
Assess professional strengths and weaknesses of employees.
Discover what motivates employees and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace.
Present skills to aid people in job searches.
Assist employees with disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions.
Create and update records and reports on progress.
