Job summary

Myers-Davis is seeking an Assistant Teacher/Job Coach to support high school students with disabilities as they build job readiness and independent living skills in a community-based work setting. This role blends classroom support with hands-on coaching to empower students.

You will provide individualized and small-group instruction, monitor progress, document daily activities, and collaborate with instructional staff to prepare graduates for employment while fostering positive relationships

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Job Coach Certification available after employment.
• Minimum one year experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings.
• Experience in special education, workforce development, vocational training, transition or job coaching.
• Knowledge of positive behavior supports and instructional strategies.
