Job summary

Providge Consulting, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the Jira SaaS for government cloud. You will administer, configure, and integrate Jira within our enterprise tech ecosystem, guiding transition from on-prem Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira AGC SaaS for government, enabling scalable Agile practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Jira engineering with DevSecOps, security governance, and enterprise integrations (ServiceNow, GitLab).

Qualifications

US Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years hands-on Jira administration/engineering (Self-hosted or SaaS).
Proven integrations with enterprise platforms (GitLab, ServiceNow); mailbox migrations and hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and integrate Jira SaaS for government cloud within the enterprise ecosystem.
Consolidate planning tools by migrating from on-prem Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira AGC SaaS for government.
Build automated, secure integrations between Jira and core systems (e.g., ServiceNow, GitLab).
Support Agile enablement and governance through Jira configurations and reporting.
