Job summary

Indotronix Avani Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Jira Platform Engineer) to own Jira SaaS in government cloud, administering, configuring, and integrating the application within our enterprise technology ecosystem. This role involves consolidating planning tools by migrating from Azure DevOps on-prem and GitLab on-prem to Jira, while enabling and scaling Agile practices across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years hands-on Jira administration and/or engineering (Self-hosted or SaaS).
Proven experience developing custom integrations with enterprise platforms, especially GitLab and ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevSecOps principles.
Experience migrating from Azure DevOps or similar tools to Jira.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and optimize Jira SaaS for government cloud within the enterprise ecosystem.
Design and maintain custom workflows, screens, fields, and automation aligned with Agile frameworks.
Manage user permissions, roles, and security schemes for governance and compliance.
Monitor license usage and adoption to optimize subscriptions.
Collaborate with procurement for renewals and budgets.
Integrate Jira with GitLab, ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems.
