Job summary

Providge Consulting seeks a DevOps Engineer (Jira Platform Engineer) to own Jira SaaS for our clients’ cloud platforms, administering, configuring, and integrating the application within the enterprise ecosystem. The role transitions from on-prem Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira to enable scalable Agile practices.

The ideal candidate has strong DevOps, Agile, and DevSecOps experience, plus hands-on Jira integration with enterprise systems and clear governance across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years Jira admin/engineering (Self-hosted or SaaS).
• 4+ years in DevOps engineering with cloud native experience.
• Experience building integrations with GitLab, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.
• Proficient in scripting and REST API integration.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience migrating from Azure DevOps or GitLab to Jira.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and integrate Jira SaaS for government cloud within the enterprise ecosystem.
• Consolidate tools by migrating from Azure DevOps and GitLab on-prem to Jira Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC) SaaS for government.
• Build robust integrations between Jira and core systems like ServiceNow and GitLab for end-to-end visibility across planning, development, and operations.
