Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Jira Platform Engineer) to own the Jira SaaS for government cloud clients, administering, configuring, and integrating the application within our enterprise tech ecosystem. You will drive the transition from on-prem Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira AGC, enabling scalable Agile practices across the organization.

The role requires hands-on Jira administration, experience building integrations with GitLab and ServiceNow, and strong DevSecOps

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
3+ years hands-on Jira administration or engineering experience.
Proven ability to develop custom integrations with enterprise platforms like GitLab and ServiceNow; mailbox migrations/ hybrid deployments.
4+ years in DevOps engineering; strong understanding of Agile methods and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and integrate Jira SaaS for government cloud within the enterprise ecosystem.
Consolidate planning tools by migrating from Azure DevOps and GitLab on-premises to Jira AGC SaaS for government.
Build secure integrations between Jira and core systems like ServiceNow and GitLab; enable end-to-end visibility across planning, development, and operations.
Design and maintain workflows, issue types, screens, fields, and automation rules for Agile delivery.
Manage user permissions, groups, security schemes, and license utilization; support renewal decisions.
