Taylor Custom Rings in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Design Consultant to deliver unforgettable, personalized jewelry experiences from the client's first spark of inspiration to the finished piece.

You will guide clients through the full consultation and custom design process, build lasting relationships, drive sales, manage incoming leads, keep projects on track, and maintain a warm showroom aligned with our earth-conscious brand.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of jewelry sales or design experience.
• Available to work in showroom in Carlsbad, CA.
• Reliable, detail-oriented with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the full consultation and custom design process with care, expertise, and attention to detail.
• Build meaningful relationships with customers, understanding their vision and helping bring it to life.
• Drive sales by confidently guiding clients toward purchase decisions while maintaining a high level of trust and service.
• Manage incoming leads and move them through the pipeline with timely, thoughtful follow-up.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with both clients and internal teams throughout each project.
• Provide knowledgeable support on jewelry, materials, and in-store processes to answer questions and problem-solve effectively.
• Ensure all orders and projects are tracked, organized, and completed accurately and on time.
• Contribute to a warm, polished, and welcoming showroom environment that reflects our brand.
• Support day-to-day showroom operations, including maintaining cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.

Employment Type: Part time or Full time in our Showroom based out of Carlsbad, California

Experience Level: 1–2+ Years of experience in jewelry sales and/or design

Compensation & Schedule

Saturday required

Additional hours may be available depending on your availability and company needs

$20 – $25 per hour DOE + profit sharing
