Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Columbus, GA is seeking an operations mechanic to support disassembly, assembly and test of turbine engines and modules. Work with a team to meet production schedules and ensure quality, safety and delivery targets. Onsite role requiring U.S.

citizenship for access to program information. Responsibilities include assembling/disassembling engines using prescribed techniques and performing test operations with attention to data and safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 1+ years' aviation mechanic experience or related technical training.
• Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, Test (DAT).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract information.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine engine maintenance following approved data and work instructions.
• Assemble/disassemble jet engines with prescribed techniques and tools to meet production schedules.
• Assist in testing and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
