Job summary

Technology Service Corporation seeks a software developer to design, implement, test and document Java-based distributed applications for DoD projects. You will work with stakeholders, contribute to requirements analysis, and support deployment on Windows and primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The role is based in Stafford, VA with up to 20% travel CONUS/OCONUS. An Agile environment and collaboration with government and contractor personnel are expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related STEM field required; MS desirable.
• 1+ years of full-time professional Java programming experience.
• Strong communication, organization and multi-tasking abilities; able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Experience on Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments and Linux CLI.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and document them.
• Develop Java-based software to meet requirements for DoD projects.
• Test, install and maintain software on Windows and primarily RHEL; assist with design and documentation.
