Job summary

Technology Service Corporation in Stafford, VA seeks a software developer to design and implement distributed web and enterprise applications using C/C++ and Java. The role involves requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, developing multi-language software, and deploying on Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Some travel and DoW related work with security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related STEM field is required.
• 1+ years of full-time professional programming experience in C, C++, make files.
• Ability to work in Windows and RHEL environments and use the Linux CLI.
• Ability to gain DoW IA workforce certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

Responsibilities

• Interface with stakeholders and users to gather and document requirements.
• Develop Java and C/C++ based software applications to meet requirements.
• Test, install, and maintain software on Windows and primarily RHEL, with some remote work.
• Assist with requirements analysis, application design, code development, testing, and documentation.
