Job summary

Technology Service Corporation Defense Services is seeking a Java developer for DoD-related projects. You will participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, installation, and documentation, primarily based in Stafford, VA.

Travel up to 20% CONUS/OCONUS may be required, with work in an Agile team of government and contractor personnel. The role emphasizes strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to adapt to Windows and RHEL environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related STEM field is required
• 1+ year of full-time professional Java programming experience
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills; able to work independently or in a team
• Experience on Windows and RHEL environments, including Linux CLI

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements with stakeholders and users
• Develop Java-based software applications to meet requirements
• Test, install, and maintain software on Windows and primarily RHEL; may work at remote sites
