Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Java Developer to join our mission-critical programs. The role focuses on Agile development and operations and maintenance for systems, operating within a DevOps framework to deliver software across the full software development lifecycle.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain backend microservices in Java/Spring, participate in architecture and code reviews, and implement automated testing and cloud deployments using GitHub, Jenkins, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile practices and DevOps workflows.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and microservices design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend microservices in Java/Spring.
• Contribute to software architecture, code reviews, and deployments.
• Implement validation and testing with JUnit and Katalon.
• Prototype and deploy on cloud-based platforms.
• Support SAFe Agile practices with stakeholders alignment.
• Manage build artifacts across environments using GitFlow and DevOps tools.
