Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. You will design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend microservices in a DevOps, agile environment and contribute across the full software lifecycle.

You will work within a DevOps framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical software. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required, with competitive pay and robust benefits offered by Leidos.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend microservices in Java/Spring.
• Participate in software programming initiatives and code reviews.
• Develop testing methods with JUnit and Katalon, automate deployments.
• Prototype and deploy solutions on a cloud-based platform.
• Support the Agile lifecycle following SAFe practices with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
• Document deployment of build artifacts across environments using GitFlow and tools like GitHub/Jenkins.
