Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a senior software engineering consultant for a contingent resource assignment. You will consult on and lead moderately complex initiatives, focusing on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices within enterprise environments.

You'll review challenging problems, analyze RDBMS platforms like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, and work with AWS, GCP, or PCF. Collaboration with client teams is essential to deliver scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• 7 years of software engineering experience
• 5 years of Java experience
• 3 years of microservices development
• 3 years of experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• 5 years of experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• 2 years of Agile experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science
• 2 years of MongoDB or another NoSQL database
• 3 years of microservices development experience
• 3 years of experience building cloud-ready enterprise solutions (AWS, GCP, PCF)
• 2 years of Apache Kafka or Confluent Enterprise

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables.

Job Description: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of software engineering experience – Default Required
• 5 years of Java experience
• 3 years of microservices development experience
• 3 years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
• 5 years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• 2 years of Agile experience

Desired Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science
• 2 years of MongoDB experience or another NoSQL Database
• 3 years of microservices development experience
• 3 years of experience building cloud-ready enterprise solutions in one or a combination of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• 2 years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Enterprise
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
