Job summary

Zekai seeks a skilled Japanese language QA specialist to evaluate, edit, and annotate LLM-generated text across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar tasks. You will identify errors and work with AI researchers to improve model performance.

Ideal candidates have native-level Japanese, translation/editing experience, and strong attention to linguistic detail. This is a 100% remote contract role for applicants located in the United States.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Japanese with strong grammar and stylistics.
• Experience translating, editing, or annotating Japanese text.
• Familiarity with NLP data work and AI research collaboration.

You're a strong fit if you have:
