Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division seeks a Janitorial Facilities Manager to supervise custodial and related services within assigned contracts. You will ensure staffing, schedules, training, and quality control to meet client expectations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, 5–10 years of supervisory experience in custodial services, and the ability to work evenings or weekends when needed. This is a full-time on-site position based in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five to ten years of supervisory experience in custodial and related cleaning in major facilities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends and on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial work and allocate tasks across areas.
• Maintain staffing to meet schedules and approve overtime/timecards.
• Train custodians on equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with customer management and address concerns.
• Perform inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee supply use and equipment condition.
• Carry out additional duties including hands-on cleaning as needed.
