Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking an experienced Janitorial Account Manager to service our Minneapolis client base. The role focuses on operational and financial stewardship while maintaining strong client relationships and exploring new business opportunities.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend coverage as needed. You will coordinate cleaning projects, monitor quality, manage the budget, and supervise staff to ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of janitorial operations management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with new construction, space reuse and changing space needs.
• Experience with creating and managing complex budgets.
• Ability to self-manage daily activities.
• Flexible with work hours and schedule.
• Technical knowledge of janitorial service delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interface with client management and contractors' staff to coordinate and execute cleaning and other projects.
• Monitor quality control expectations.
• Manage work order system.
• Manage expenditures such as labor and supplies to budget.
• Manage schedules to ensure contract compliance.
• Review employee performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Complete quality control programs per company guidelines.
• Other projects assigned.
