Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations of the existing business, balancing operational performance with financial results.

You will manage staff, ensure quality standards and safety compliance, and optimize workflows to deliver high-quality janitorial services. This leadership role requires strong client relations, bid preparation, and ability to develop new business while maintaining current accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable management experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing programs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cleaning service.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team leaders to ensure compliance with cleaning standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Manage and direct staff activities.
• Responsible for P&L activities.
• Manage operational policies, objectives and initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Establish operating policies to mitigate risk.
• Provide leadership to develop new customers and maintain existing customer base.
• Manage emergency response for all problems.
• Create estimates and workload for bids and new job sites.
