Job description

Join to apply for the Janitor / Porter role at Related Management Company.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm.

The Janitor/Porter will work at 520 W 28th Street - Zaha. Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining cleanliness of lobby, hallways, elevators, common areas, and restrooms (mopping, sweeping, stripping/waxing/buffing floors, dusting, vacuuming, garbage removal).
2. Performing light maintenance tasks as assigned.
3. Providing excellent customer service to residents.
4. General upkeep of buildings and grounds.
5. Snow removal and landscaping.
6. Maintaining all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
7. Completing special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of janitor, cleaner, or porter experience.
• Reliability and experience working with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.
