Job Title: AM Porter/Dishwasher

Major Food Group is seeking an AM Porter/Dishwasher to join our team at The Grill!

THE GRILL is a historically inspired American chophouse set in midcentury New York, emphasizing elegance and extensive table-side service. The restaurant features a style that combines history, intricate preparations, and a focus on land and sea animals, with extensive use of the restaurant's namesake equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of Back of House and Front of House areas
• Clean and sort all dishes and flatware
• Mop and take out trash as necessary
• Wash and disinfect appliances, display case, work surfaces, floors, walls
• Replenish cleaning materials, soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 0-1 years experience as a Porter, Dishwasher, Janitor, or similar role
• Dependable, hard-working, and punctual
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Morning availability, 8AM-4PM shift

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00/hr
