ESFM Janitor Positions

We have an opening for full-time JANITOR positions at our location: Principio Pkwy W 600, North East, MD 21901. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday nights. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior janitorial experience is required, preferably at least one year.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and replace furniture in its correct position.
• Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, sanitize all surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Identify areas requiring cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors and perform in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
