Challenge Unlimited is seeking a full-time night-shift janitor at Scott Air Force Base, IL to maintain a clean and orderly facility. The role requires driving to the site and performing general cleaning and maintenance duties.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms and floors, restocking supplies, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. Eligible applicants will have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Pass criminal background checks and various state/federal registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties at Scott Air Force Base.
• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms; sweep, mop floors, and dust desks and furniture.
• Empty trash and replace liners; clean windowsills and glass surfaces as needed.

Position Summary

We are looking for Full-time Janitors for the night shift, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our facility in a clean and orderly condition. MUST DRIVE:

• Pay Rate: $17.75per hour + Federal Benefits
• Full Time
• Mon -Fri - 4:30pm - 12:30am or Till Finish
• Location: Scott Air Force Base, IL

Typical Job Duties

• Responsible for janitorial duties at Scott Air Force Base.
• clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean windowsills and windows. Obtain tools necessary for the job to be completed.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract
• Expected to safely operate equipment
• Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
• Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service

Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs.
• Be 21years or older.

• Must have a real I.D or Drivers License
