Job summary

Challenge Unlimited Inc. in Fort Cavazos, Texas, is seeking a dependable janitor to support site upkeep and safety under supervision. The role focuses on developing work skills and performing duties at the assigned site.

Pay rate is $17.75 per hour with evening shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; days off are Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Typical duties include cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, moving supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms, break rooms, and warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• Pass federal and state background checks.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean windowsills and windows. Obtain tools necessary for the job to be completed.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract
• Clean and sanitize meat room
• Work in the warehouse
• Push and pull a banded bale of cardboard
• Gather and move shopping carts by hand and using the cart manager
• Expected to safely operate equipment
• Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
• Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service

• Thursday 10:00pm - job is complete
• Saturday 10:00pm - job is complete
• Off - Sunday, Wednesday and Friday
