Job summary

Didlake, Inc. is seeking a part-time janitor in Woodlawn, MD to independently clean restrooms, offices, and common areas. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and replenish supplies while adhering to safety standards and Didlake policies.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED (or 6 months custodial experience) and a willingness to interact with diverse team members, including individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; polish metalwork and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas, and recycle materials appropriately.
• Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety standards and proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Maintain quality work and appropriate conduct in line with Didlake policies.
• Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.

The Janitor independently cleans restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping floors; removing trash and other materials for recycling; dusting furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; replenishing restroom supplies.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED,or


• Minimum of 6 months previous custodial or janitorial experience.
