Assists Store Management with in-store supervision, including directing personnel. Provides effective leadership to all associates and displays the highest level of customer service in all areas. This position functions as a frontline member of the Retail Store Leadership Team at our upcoming store in Arrowhead Towne Center, Glendale, AZ.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  1. Greet and assist guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise.
  2. Resolve guest issues effectively.
  3. Keep the supervisor informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
  4. Monitor and approve guest returns according to retail policies.
  5. Monitor associates' guest service levels and provide feedback.
  6. Utilize the GUESTS program when interacting with guests on the sales floor, phone, or handling guest-owned jewelry.
  7. Prepare and review supply orders from the JAC warehouse and other applicable channels.
  8. Perform leadership duties for store opening and closing.
  9. Provide leadership and training to associates, focusing on guest service and sales. Coordinate regular and seasonal training, and delegate assignments.
  10. Assist in the annual inventory process, ensuring compliance with procedures. Participate in cycle counting, inventory adjustments, shipping, and receiving.
  11. Participate in store meetings and company events or promotions.
  12. Develop and conduct team-building activities.
  13. Monitor product trends and communicate changes to the District Manager.
PRODUCT CARE:
  1. Operate all service equipment proficiently and train staff accordingly.
  2. Ensure product care services meet operational standards.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING:
  1. Perform staging, setup, maintenance, and replacement of display items following visual guidelines.
  2. Assist in maintaining overall store presentation standards.

Additional responsibilities include processing employee purchases, reviewing and creating employee schedules, ensuring security procedures, and adhering to safety and company policies. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work as part of a team.

OTHER DUTIES include leading in the absence of other leadership, building relationships, collaborating across teams, and assisting in other areas as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1-year retail or customer service experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience is also preferred. Must pass background and drug screens and be authorized to work in the U.S. via E-Verify.
