Assists Store Management with in-store supervision, including directing personnel. Provides effective leadership to all associates and displays the highest level of customer service in all areas. This position functions as a front-line member of the Retail Store Leadership Team at our NEW STORE coming soon to Chandler Fashion Center, Chandler, AZ.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting guests with merchandise selection and purchase.
- Resolving guest issues effectively.
- Keeping supervisors informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
- Monitoring and approving guest returns according to retail policies.
- Monitoring associates' guest service levels and providing feedback.
- Utilizing the GUESTS program during guest interactions and handling guest-owned jewelry.
- Preparing and reviewing supply orders from the JAC warehouse and other channels.
- Performing leadership duties for store opening and closing.
- Providing training and leadership to associates, focusing on guest service and sales, including conducting team training and delegating assignments.
- Assisting in inventory processes, cycle counting, adjustments, shipping, and receiving, following company procedures.
- Participating in store meetings and supporting special events and promotions.
- Developing team-building activities.
- Monitoring product trends and communicating changes to the District Manager.
- Operating service equipment and training staff in product care services to meet operational standards.
- Maintaining store presentation standards through staging, setup, and display maintenance.
- Processing employee purchases and managing employee schedules in the absence of store leadership, ensuring adherence to operational and budget guidelines.
- Demonstrating strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Following all safety regulations and company policies, including attendance, harassment-free environment, and electronic communication guidelines.
Additional duties include:
- Leading in the absence of other leadership team members.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Collaborating across teams to foster positive relationships and credibility.
- Assisting in other areas as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Must pass background and drug screenings and be authorized to work in the U.S. via E-Verify.
