Assists Store Management with in-store supervision including directing personnel. Provides effective leadership to all associates. Displays the highest level of customer service in all areas. This position will function as a front line member of the Retail Store Leadership Team at our new store opening soon at Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, AZ.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Greets and assists guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise.
- Resolves guest issues effectively.
- Keeps supervisor informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
- Monitors and approves guest returns according to retail policies.
- Monitors associates' guest service levels and provides feedback.
- Utilizes the GUESTS program when interacting with guests and handling guest-owned jewelry.
- Prepares and reviews supply orders from the JAC warehouse and other channels.
- Performs leadership responsibilities for store opening and closing duties.
- Provides leadership and training to associates, focusing on guest service and sales; coordinates regular and seasonal training; delegates assignments.
- Assists in inventory processes, including cycle counting, adjustments, shipping, and receiving, following company procedures; reports issues to appropriate personnel.
- Participates in store meetings and company events; develops team-building activities.
- Monitors product trends and communicates changes to the District Manager.
- Ensures product care services meet operational standards, including operating service equipment and training staff.
- Maintains store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Processes employee purchases and manages employee schedules in the absence of senior management, ensuring adherence to operational and budget guidelines.
- Ensures security procedures are followed to protect assets.
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Follows safety regulations, participates in safety training, and reports unsafe conditions.
- Adheres to company policies on attendance, harassment, and electronic communication.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year retail or customer service experience preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Pass a background check and drug screening per company standards.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. as verified by E-Verify.
