This role involves assisting Store Management with in-store supervision, including directing personnel and providing effective leadership to all associates. The position requires delivering exceptional customer service and functioning as a front-line member of the Retail Store Leadership Team at our upcoming store at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and assist guests with merchandise selection and purchases.
  2. Resolve guest issues effectively and keep management informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
  3. Monitor and approve guest returns according to retail policies.
  4. Maintain high guest service levels and provide feedback to associates.
  5. Utilize the GUESTS program during guest interactions and handling guest-owned jewelry.
  6. Prepare and review supply orders from the warehouse and through purchasing channels.
  7. Perform store opening and closing leadership duties.
  8. Lead and train associates, focusing on guest service and sales, including regular and seasonal training sessions.
  9. Assist in inventory processes, including cycle counts, adjustments, shipping, and receiving, reporting issues as necessary.
  10. Participate in store meetings and support company events and promotions.
  11. Develop team-building activities and monitor product trends for communication with management.
Product Care:
  1. Operate all service equipment proficiently and train staff accordingly.
  2. Ensure product care services meet standards.
Visual Merchandising:
  1. Assist with display setup, maintenance, and replacement per visual guidelines.
  2. Help maintain overall store presentation standards.
Additional Duties:
  1. Process employee purchases and manage employee schedules in the absence of management, ensuring operational and budget adherence.
  2. Maintain security procedures and safety regulations.
  3. Communicate effectively, demonstrating strong written and verbal skills, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Adhere to company policies on attendance, harassment prevention, and electronic communication.

Other responsibilities include leading in the absence of other leaders, building stakeholder relationships, and collaborating across teams. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with at least 1 year of retail or customer service experience; supervisory experience is a plus. Must pass background and drug screenings and be authorized to work in the U.S. via E-Verify.
