Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is seeking a reliable Convenience Store Associate for Cash Magic—Galliano in Louisiana. The role involves delivering prompt service, handling sales, maintaining a clean store, processing merchandise, and assisting with money orders and lottery tickets.

The position requires reading, writing and understanding English, and legal right to work in the United States. Comprehensive benefits are provided after probation.

Responsibilities

• Give all customers prompt and courteous service.
• Record all sales promptly and accurately, as per company standards.
• Maintain daily a clean, attractive store, inside and out.
• Properly receive all merchandise and complete all invoices, pertaining to said merchandise in a manner to maximize inventory control.
• Brew coffee daily and replenish fountain drink machine.
• Keep coolers, drink boxes, store shelves and displays fully stocked/fronted.
• Prepare and submit store paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Assure proper sales and accounting for money orders and lottery tickets.

The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.
