Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. seeks a Vault Supervisor for Cash Magic—Vinton to manage daily vault operations and support casino drop processes. You will oversee cash handling, balance the vault, verify documents, and maintain inventory for the bar within a gaming environment.

Ideal candidates have related experience or a one-year technical certificate, strong math skills, and the ability to supervise others while ensuring compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to counsel and develop subordinates in a fair, equal, and favorable environment.
• Ability to perform basic math and calculate discounts, percentages, and gross profit margins.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Must be designated Representative and certified on all video poker machines.
• Identification to establish identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine machine drops efficiently according to policy.
• Balance the vault daily.
• Verify Casino Associate paperwork daily and report errors promptly.
• Inventory and order bar supplies.
• Order change from bank when necessary.
• Assist AGM with casino drops and accuracy reviews.

The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for conducting routine machine drops in an efficient manner, according to company policies and procedures
• Responsible for balancing the vault daily
• Verifies Casino Associate paperwork daily and reports any errors to the Assistant General Manager/General Manager immediately
• Responsible for inventory of and ordering supplies for the bar
• Orders change from bank when necessary
• Assists the AGM with casino drops and reviews for accuracy

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrate the ability to counsel and develop subordinates in a fair, equal, and favorable work environment
• Ability to perform basic math and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and gross profit margins
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and produce manuals
