Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is seeking a Convenience Store Associate for Cash Magic—Broussard North. This role provides prompt customer service at a busy retail site in Broussard, LA, with responsibilities including sales recording, inventory control, and daily store maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Give all customers prompt and courteous service.
• Record all sales promptly and accurately, as per company standards.
• Maintain daily a clean, attractive store, inside and out.
• Properly receive all merchandise and complete all invoices, pertaining to said merchandise in a manner to maximize inventory control.
• Brew coffee daily and replenish fountain drink machine.
• Keep coolers, drink boxes, store shelves and displays fully always stocked/fronted.
• Prepare and submit store paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Assure proper sales and accounting for money orders and lottery tickets.

The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.
