The role involves handling cash, processing transactions, and supporting inventory through accurate paperwork and reporting.

Ideal candidates will have strong English skills, basic math, and the ability to verify IDs. Compliance with policies, reliable punctuality, and a professional appearance are essential

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Sufficient vision to verify IDs and process money orders.
• Capable of operating a cash register and related equipment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read and follow store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
• Record sales accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, attractive store interior and exterior.
• Receive merchandise and manage invoices for inventory control.
• Restock coolers, displays, and shelves.
• Assist with money orders and lottery transaction accuracy.

The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• • Give all customers prompt and courteous service
  • Record all sales promptly and accurately, as per company standards

  • Maintain daily a clean, attractive store, inside and out
  • Properly receive all merchandise and complete all invoices, pertaining to said merchandise in a manner to maximize inventory control
  • Brew coffee daily and replenish fountain drink machine
  • Keep coolers, drink boxes, store shelves and displays always fully stocked/fronted
  • Reduce theft loss and shrinkage by following company policies and procedures and by practicing honesty in the workplace
  • May prepare and submit store paperwork and reports in a timely manner
  • Assure proper sales and accounting for money orders and lottery tickets
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards
  • Regular attendance and arriving on time to all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings
  • Complete all other store tasks and activities as assigned by the Casino Manager in a prompt, cooperative and accurate manner
