Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Convenience Store Associate for Cash Magic—Larose. The role supports a 27-site Louisiana operation with a focus on prompt service, accurate sales, and well-stocked displays in a gaming-focused venue.

Responsibilities include handling money orders, processing sales, and maintaining a clean, hospitable store while supporting everyday accounting tasks and reports.

Qualifications

• Must be able to process money orders and identify customers.
• Must be able to work in a US retail/gaming environment.

Responsibilities

The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Properly receive all merchandise and complete all invoices, pertaining to said merchandise in a manner to maximize inventory control
• Brew coffee daily and replenish fountain drink machine
• Keep coolers, drink boxes, store shelves and displays fully always stocked/fronted
• Prepare and submit store paperwork and reports in a timely manner
• Assure proper sales and accounting for money orders and lottery tickets

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
• Sufficient visual acuity to check identification and process money orders
• Identification that establishes identity
