Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for Cash Magic - Silver Fox in Louisiana. This role oversees the Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino, managing merchandising, staffing, compliance with ATC rules, and daily financial controls across multiple facilities.

The position includes responsibility for profit analysis, scheduling, training, and staff development, with a focus on operational excellence and guest experience.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 5 years of experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience in a retail or restaurant setting (convenience store preferred).
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform basic math and calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, gross profit margins and analyze financial statements.
• Identification that establishes identity.
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.
• Must possess valid Louisiana driving license.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly profit/loss statements, vendor analysis, gaming and non-gaming reports to improve operation.
• Ensures merchandise is stocked and attractively displaced.
• Establishes work schedule in accordance with policy and labor goals, manages overtime hours of all non-gaming associates, and maintains accurate associate timesheets.
• Ensures adherence to city, parish, state, and federal laws affecting the store’s operations, including ATC regulations.
• Prepares and submits all paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Orders merchandise on a timely basis, ensuring proper check-in, correct pricing and stocked inventory.
• Keeps up with licenses and renewals for all non-gaming revenue centers and maintains renewal in a timely manner.
• Prepares daily deposits for store, restaurant, and all other non-gaming operations.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Management and development of supervisors and associates through coaching and training.
• Conducts at least one night-time surprise inspection weekly or more often if necessary.
• Responsible for controlling cash and all other inventory.
• Supervises the casino to ensure efficient operations of property.
• Responsible for repair and maintenance issues related to the location.
• Must maintain all necessary licenses and be specific to the overall operation.
• Responsible for the management of all non-gaming profit centers.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
