Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Vault Supervisor for Cash Magic Prospect Station in Houma, LA. This role oversees daily vault operations, ensures accurate cash handling, and supports casino staff to uphold secure, compliant gaming operations.

Responsibilities include balancing the vault, verifying paperwork, and coordinating with management to maintain efficient cash processes across the facility. A one-year certificate or equivalent experience is required, with opportunities for

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrate the ability to counsel and develop subordinates in a fair, equal, and favorable work environment
• Ability to perform basic math and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and gross profit margins

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine machine drops efficiently per policies and procedures
• Balance the vault daily
• Verify casino associate paperwork daily and report errors to management
• Inventory and order supplies for the bar

The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for conducting routine machine drops in an efficient manner, according to company policies and procedures


• Responsible for balancing the vault daily


• Verifies Casino Associate paperwork daily and reports any errors to the Assistant General Manager/General Manager immediately


• Responsible for inventory of and ordering supplies for the bar


• Orders change from bank when necessary


• Assists the AGM with casino drops and reviews for accuracy

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Demonstrate the ability to counsel and develop subordinates in a fair, equal, and favorable work environment


• Ability to perform basic math and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and gross profit margins


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and produce manuals


• Must be designated Representative and certified on all video poker machines
